Samsung has officially beefed up its mid-range arsenal in the country with the local introduction of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G. Bringing notable refinements to build quality, speed, and photography tools, this device is engineered for Filipino users looking for near-flagship capabilities without the staggering price tag.
Ultra-Slim Profile & 120Hz Super AMOLED Display
The Galaxy A57 5G makes an instant impression with its remarkably slim 6.9mm profile and clean “Ambient Island” rear camera layout. Weighing just 179 grams, it is comfortable to use one-handed during daily commutes.
Up front, it boasts a vibrant 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a blinding peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits, ensuring effortless readability under harsh Philippine sunlight. For ruggedness, both the front and back are shielded by tough Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, backed by an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
Pro-Grade Nightography & Galaxy AI Tools
For content creators and photography enthusiasts, the phone features a reliable triple camera setup headlined by a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. Enhanced Nightography processing reduces noise for clear low-light shots, while a 12MP front camera handles crisp Super HDR video calls and vlogs.
The device also integrates smart Awesome Intelligence tools—such as Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and Best Face—allowing users to streamline everyday tasks and photo editing natively on the device.
Performance and 6 Years of Updates
Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 5G runs on the capable Exynos 1680 (4nm) processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a larger vapor chamber to keep thermals cool during heavy use.
Keeping the device powered is a dependable 5,000mAh battery that now supports faster 45W wired charging. Operating on Android 16 with One UI, Samsung ensures long-term software health by promising an exceptional 6 generations of major OS and security upgrades.
